Russia and Iran

I think the Russia-Iran alliance is being understated in this article:

From my perspective, Putin is trying to use Iran to re-establish Russia as the world power to be reckoned with. It is not too far-fetched to piece together a puzzle that points to Russia outfitting Iran with nuclear armament for the sole purpose of attacking the U.S. - in other words, Russia is attacking the U.S. indirectly through Iran. Of course, Ahmadinejad is allied with Russia because he feels it his Islamic duty to hasten the return of Allah and once and for all establish an eternal Islamic kingdom on earth now.

Meanwhile, we have idiots like Gore distracting the public at large with his global warming fantasies ...
